Watercolor Tutorial by THEGREATAIKO-SAMA Watercolor Tutorial by THEGREATAIKO-SAMA
It's super expensive paper a 25 sheet block is $50 but it comes in hot pressed and cold pressed. Hot pressed paper--the red orange one-- is good for tube watercolor and the cold pressed paper has a greater tooth to it but is good for w.c. pencils.

That Copic set was bought in Savannah, GA for around 85 dollars. Those brushes--the white ones are "Simply Simmons" brand and cost a flat rate of 2.99 a brush even though my Micheal's store charges me 3.99 regardless of what the display rack says So I took a phone picture to prove them wrong! and I've lost almost 20 bucks because of this.... The Greenish brushes are "Princeton Select" and the cost varies depending on the size and store but they have far more angled brushes that I prefer.

(Dammit I hate the end of July and August because ragweed blooms and I hate itttttt.)

And about placing stuff on top of your laptop, just remember, don't be a Squidward. Nobody wants to be a Squidward.

Don't have Copics? Sakura Microns work pretty good but on certain types of softer paper, they will smudge.
Prismacolor is pretty good but the ink is shiny like a ballpoint pen and I personally hate that.
You can also get that eraseable "non-photo blue" prismacolor colored pencil but they're expensive and everytime i went to the store to just get one they were out and never re-stocked it. So the best deal online was a pack of 12 for around 11 dollars (+shipping).

Do you need that kind of paper to use water color?

You need watercolor paper that won't ripple when it gets wet.
You can get Canson brand, Strathmore, and also other brands. This is some fancy French stuff.

Not really. Less than 10 or 15 US dollars for a 9X12 size.
